I was trying to compile some videos last night in celebration of Halloween, a holiday that I loathed, feared and despised as a child but have now come to truly enjoy… I’ll keep this brief – my babbling, that is.
Monster Mash – I distinctly remember that this song really freaked me out as a kid… now it’s light and fun and pretty much the perfect Halloween song, however cliche that might sound.
You also can’t lose with this classic from MJ himself… I mean, seriously.

You know, I really love Common Reaction, Uh Huh Her’s record that came out this summer. And I wouldn’t have an issue with this video at all. If it wasn’t for the male character’s weird facial hair. But otherwise, this is lovely…

Gawker had a post yesterday about how Ryan Adams is interning over at BlackBook… the photo they ran with it is nothing less than dreamy. To be honest, I’m still a little unsure of how I feel about Cardinology, to the point that I don’t really want to talk about it. I just need a little more time.

I still love you, Ryan – I just worry that you’ve lost something you might never get back. Not that I feel like your newer music lacks a soul, but I have relegated myself to believing that there will never be another Gold or Heartbreaker in your output. And that’s a sad thought.
